Was brought here for high tea on my birthday and really enjoyed the whole experience. Tea was great (and I’m English-born... we’re fussy about our tea!)... and the food was delicious. When it arrived, I was initially disappointed about the size of servings, but they are deceptive and a lot more filling than they look!

Went here recently for tea, and we were here last year for a small bridal shower High Tea lunch. The food is excellent and decadent, the staff are very friendly, and the layout and design of the place is top notch. There's a lot of little extras, too - they have little tea-cup/pot chandelier type ornamentation, and on the larger tables (where our group was last year) they layout professional little tea jars so folks can scent the various teas before ordering. You can also get a half-order High Tea or a full order, and both are great depending on appetite.If you're looking for a fun High Tea experience with great ambience, atmosphere, staff and food, then this is the place for you!

It's kind of expensive, the staff are nice and the menu is small but the food is good. I had the soup and it comes with two great and flaky cheese sticks. They had different choices of soup and it was very good also. I would give a better recommendation except for the price.

Ivana prepares many different kinds of afternoon tea - some sweet, some savory, some high, some low - with fresh homemade goods and small touches. She knows what tasty pastries or delights accompany each kind of tea well. But, it's her impeccable customer service that wins the day. Ivana personally confirmed my email reservation and invited me to place our tea orders early if we wanted. She greeted the group warmly and served us with smiles. Everything was delicious.

I love the attention to detail in this beautiful shop. It feels like you're stepping through a portal to a British tea party. The owner was very kind, the tea & scones were delicious.

Amazing service! Very friendly and helpful when it comes to choosing items off of the menu. Delicious sandwiches and the salmon salad is wonderful. The large variety of teas guarentees that everyone can find something they like.

It's a lovely little tea house, shabby chic, white and clean. Had the carrot ginger soup, excellent and good sandwich. It's a very civilized atmosphere and you can actually have conversation and hear each other! Take your BFF and enjoy a wonderful selection of tea.

Beautiful tea house, my mom took me there for high tea. Definitely use the entertainment coupon as it is pricey with small portions so it is much more ideal to use the BOGO. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful!

I love this place! It's one of my top spots to go with my girls and have some us time. The food here is always so tasty and the china teacups and saucers are such a thoughtful touch. The quieter atmosphere is super unique and really makes the experience. It's definitely a little pricier than other lunch spots, but they have a great variety of soups, sandwiches, and, of course, tea. I'd definitely recommend it as a splurge for cute dates, girlfriends, or some time with your daughter.

Absolutely wonderful! Ivana and her staff always go above and beyond taking care of her customers! High tea was a regular event my entire life and I’ve probavly been to every tea house in the lower mainland. This is an excellent high tea service that always changes and it always delicious! 💖💖💖Also, I read the previous review by Laina B and I can surely understand why the owner was upset with only 6 arriving😡. High tea for that many people is a lot of extra work and effort and having 40% of the reservation not show up for a menu that takes so much preparation is not acceptable. The key word is RESERVATION, that means she refused other bookings to reserve the space, staff and ingredients for you. She should request a non refundable deposit when it’s more than 6 people so people turn up when they’re supposed to.

Love this place! Super cute and perfect for mothers, but it is crazy expensive. Mostly worth the price for the experience!

I took my mom to High Tea for mother's day at Ivana Teahouse and the entire experience was a delight. Everything from the dainty finger sandwiches and pastries, to the antique spoons, to the tiny shortbread butterflies nesting in our teacups was perfection. The service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was understated and charming. Both my mom and I felt like two ladies having tea on an episode of Downton Abbey. If you're looking for a unique and lovely place to have a little lunch or a cup of tea, please do yourself a favour and visit Ivana Teahouse!

It's a wonderful experience when you go for tea or lunch here. The space is warm and inviting. The tea is delicious and the food is to die for. We went for a business meeting and the place was busy but comfortable enough to have a great conversation. I recommend this place to anyone who's going downtown abby. You get the high tea experience without paying the Vancouver prices.

I don't drink tea myself, but their soup and sandwiches are super tasty and the owner/host is friendly.It's a nice quiet place to meet and talk especially if you're tired of those noisy, crowded chains.

My friend and I accidentally found this tea house and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and the relaxed ambience. We had the soup and a half serving of the high tea. The service was excellent and the tea wasoutstanding. My friend and I hope to bring our book group there on our next retreat.We also met the owner Ivana who was delightful.

Food was not bad and tea selection was decent. Service was blah.. the young redhead waitress left us for a long time and didnt bother helping us. We gave her eye contact and waved, but she walked away..Thankfully the friendly lady, who might be the owner came and fully accomodated us.

What a wonderful place! The service is personal and attentive without being cloying, the food is obviously all made in shop and is delicious. The atmosphere is very carefully constructed and makes this a pleasant little tea house to spend hours in.
